TTF's faith based domestic abuse prevention and intervention training is provided FREE of charge to participants. Private donors, individual contributors, grants and awards support the delivery of training to program participants.

TO THE COMMUNITY:

-BRING TTF TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD! CONTACT OUR COMMUNITY AWARENESS TEAM
IT'S AS EASY AS 1-2-3!

  1. Schedule a TTF "Counting the Cost" or "Time To Talk" presentation with the TTF Community Awareness Team
  2. Invite over a few friends and neighbors (8 to 10). Check your FRANK list. (Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, Kids)
  3. Serve light refreshments (cookies & tea/coffee)
  4. The TTF Community Awareness Team will do the rest.

Others ways to help:

  • Enroll TTF - in your Employers’ Corporate Matching Program.

  • Sponsor a TTF ad - in your child’s school yearbook, community gazette or company newsletter.

  • Honor a life LOST to domestic violence - make a donation today to SAVE a life through TTF training in honor of a family member or friend that lost their life to domestic violence!

  • Legacy Gift - make a donation today in honor or in memory of someone who has inspired your life!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

TTF provides one time, short term and long term projects throughout the year to aid the needs of the program. Volunteer roles available for Juniors (ages 14 and above) and adults.

Activities for Volunteers may include any of the following:

  • Various administrative tasks (typing, filing, ordering office supplies, etc.)
  • Answering phones
  • Maintaining the office library
  • Tutoring
  • Overseeing mail
  • Preparing donor luncheon meals
  • Assisting with community event decor
  • Assembling gift baskets for special speakers and guests of TTF
  • Thank you notes and calls to supporters and friends of TTF
  • Online research
  • Product inventory
  • Helping our staff in any function: Community Awareness, Promotions and Marketing, Development and Fundraising, Grant Research

Note: Due to legal requirements, privacy policies, and the sensitivity of the issues of our program participants, volunteers at Time To Fly Foundation are very limited in their interaction with program participants during any frontline activities and will NOT be involved in any of the following at any time:

  • Providing counseling or ministry to program participants during their 9-week course.
  • Spending any unsupervised or one-on-one time with the program participants
  • Engaging in any of the participant application review process
